Job summary
The Older Adults CMHT are looking to recruit a qualified mental health nurse team leader.
The role will require strong leadership skills, time management and the ability to work under own initiative. Previous leadership experience is desirable but not essential.
you will be working to lead a full integrated health and social care team who provide assessment, diagnosis and treatment to older adults within Bolton.
The successful candidate with lead the day to day operation of the service in line with key performance indicators, and in collaboration with senior practitioner, consultants, advanced nurse practitioner and psychology.
The post is supported by the operational manager to maintain high standards of practice in addition to developing service improvements and proactively identifying areas for change with support from the operational manager.
The post requires participation in the locality Bronze on Call rota.
Main duties of the job
- To be responsible for the day to day operational management, leadership and development of a designated multi-disciplinary Community Mental Health Team which is integrated, flexible, user focussed and recovery-orientated.
- To deliver a safe, effective, and high quality service to service users with mental health needs, to ensure delivery to the relevant clinical pathways as outlined within the CMHT operational procedure
- Participation as a member of the Community Services Management Team in the overall management of community based secondary mental health services.
- Participate in the service Bronze on call and Bronze on Site rota.
