Are you a dynamic and motivated individual with strong leadership skills? If so South Home Based Treatment Team is seeking to recruit a Senior Practitioner to provide clinical leadership to the service.
The Home Based Treatment Team is well established and comprises of a dynamic and welcoming team that includes psychiatrists, senior practitioners, practitioners as well as a clinical psychologist.
The team offers a range of services including but not limited to:
Community alternative to inpatient admission.
Crisis respite beds
Supported early discharge
72 Hour / 7 Day follow up.
Main duties of the job
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Practitioner to join the Home Based Treatment Team in South Manchester.
You will be a senior team member providing clinical leadership, leading within our MDT meetings, and on clinical decision making within the service. You will support junior staff through supervision and service development.
Key duties willinclude:
- Overseeing theclinical management for the patients, reviewing the practice of other staff.
- To develop and maintainrelationships and pathways with other services.
- Act as a Gatekeeper, reviewing referrals for acute care.
- To participate in the local on call manager rota for South Manchester and Trafford.
