Band 4 Senior Support Time Recovery Worker - Warstock lane CMHT

Job summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Support time recovery worker to join Warstock Lane Community CMHT

Our Service provides a recovery based 6 week programme of group and individual interventions to support Service Users to develop skills to manage their own mental Health

We work closely with Home Treatment, Liaison Psychiatry and Primary Care Hub

We are looking for someone with experience in running solution focussed groups, offering psychological wellbeing and discharge planning as this role will focus on supporting Service users to understand and manage their mental health as well prepare patients transition from our service to primary care

You will need to be skilled at working with groups and individuals within a clinical setting

You will need to have excellent communication skills as you will be working with a wide range of internal and external partners and Service Users

You will be required to provide accurate written records and to feedback in a variety of settings

Main duties of the job

  • Planning and implementing discharge plans
  • Assisting Service Users to access third party and community programmes
  • Providing group and individual interventions (hearing voices etcetera)
  • Liaising with internal and external partners
  • Recording and reporting on observations and interventions
  • supervising band 3 staff
