Job summary
The post holder will work within the Treatment team, the team includes 2 NMP, mental health nurses, senior health and wellbeing nurse, consultants, practitioners from our partner agencies which are Nacro and Aquarius. and we have a DALT team working in Royal Wolverhampton trust

The post holder will work closely with the team leader in the development of effective systems and processes for the collection of performance outputs and outcomes in relation to prescribing. You will work with colleagues to ensure that there are effective care pathways to a range of services that will enhance individual recovery, achievement of goals and re-integration. This will be achieved by forming effective partnership links with identified partners and community organisations to enhance service user recovery journey.
Main duties of the job
- To work closely with the service manager in the development of effective systems and processes for the collection of performance outcomes in relation to non medical prescribing and other related outcomes within the service.
- To be an independent practitioner within the service
- To manage a defined caseload for prescribing within the service and ensure that non-medical prescribing enhances service delivery.
- Responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of clinical care within agreed parameters', and have a working knowledge of local, national policies and legislation that govern role and service provision
- To ensure that service users have a good awareness of prescribed medication including potential side effects.
Main responsibilities will be
- Running daily clinics commencing prescribing or reviewing clients medication, hold a case load of prescribing clients. will have a lead in a certain are of the service
- will participate in senior meetings
- work alongside service manager and consultant writing and reviewing pathways and guidelines.
