Essential criteria include a keen interest & specific experience in working with individuals with a diagnosis of personality disorder/complex trauma, advanced communications skills, a flexible approach & a desire to work as part of a trauma informed team. You will need to have a vision to implement service improvement initiatives to support driving the service forward as part of the Integrated Community Care & Recovery team. You will possess the ability to work autonomously, multitask & be self-organised, whilst also being able to work as part of a relationally informed team. You will be involved in promoting further development & influencing high quality clinical practice in this area, with a focus on art psychotherapy for this client with personality disorders.
Main duties of the job
The enhanced team for personality disorders offer complex case reviews and formulation as well as a range of specialist, often longer term, individual interventions including art psychotherapy, eye movement desensitisation and reprocessing, mentalization based therapy, sensory needs assessment and bespoke needs led psychological interventions. A significant part of the role is supporting others in their work, including offering specialist consultation and supervision to teams. - Qualification in accredited professional clinical specialism (Clinical/Counselling Psychologist/Art Psychotherapist/Occupational Therapist/ Adult Psychotherapist)
Desirable
