Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen within BSMHFT alongside the Safer Staffing Team and the Clinical Educators team.

We have 2 x opportunities

1 x opportunity is to work as Pastoral Support and Clinical Educator

1 x opportunity to work as Clinical Educator

The successful Clinical Educator will also plan and support and facilitate the learning opportunities for our Internationally Educated Nurses as well as support with Pastoral care.

The successful candidate will be supporting with the 'Objective Structured Clinical Examination' (OSCE) resit support if and when required.

This is an ideal opportunity for candidates with a passion for pastoral support, clinical education and practice development to support our Internationally Educated Nurses on there journey with BSMHFT.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will

  • Provide pastoral care to Internationally Educated Nurse
  • To work with the clinical education team to provide support and assistance to all learners and clinical staff
  • To create and provide links between directorates and the professional education team

  • Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council.

  • Recognised teaching qualification/Post Graduate Certificate in Education (HE) or working towards this.
