Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full-time Specialities Lead Nurse in the Mother and Baby Unit and Outreach Team working within our Specialties team. We are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic individual who is highly motivated with a proven track record in providing clinical leadership, clinical expertise and professional development.

Main duties of the job

Contributing to the implementation of strategic plans within the service.

Providing specialist perinatal clinical leadership and oversight of clinical processes within the service.

Ensure effective and skilled clinical interventions are provided to service users to meet their specific needs.

Lead on development and implementation of competent and purposeful outcome focussed interventions.

Evidence of understanding and developing nursing policy and practice, education and research within the context of a multi-disciplinary setting

Developing implementing and monitoring Standards for Inpatient Perinatal Mental Health Services and strengthening professional clinical leadership at team and service area level.
