Job summary
Working predominantly at the Barberry Centre, at Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust (BSMHFT), the post-holder will support the Project Manager for Mood Disorders Research to deliver the objectives of the department, with a particular focus on the Mental Health Mission's Midlands Translational Research Centre of Excellence to enhance the offer of research to service users across the region. This will include but is not limited to, the development of a specialist interventions unit for research and the establishment of research specific clinics and clinical research pathways. The postholder will be experienced in managing projects within the NHS and will ideally have worked in a similar environment.
Main duties of the job
Job Summary:The Project Manager has delegated responsibility for planning, managing and coordinating projects as agreed with the Project Manager for Mood Disorders Research. He/she will actively participate in all aspects of procurement and implementation of systems or services as dictated by the requirements ofindividual projects.
