Job summary
Fantastic opportunities have arisen to recruit passionate, dedicated and highly motivated mental health nurses that are excited to be part of the Women's Blended secure service based at Ardenleigh. You will work alongside a team of passionate and dedicated professionals to develop healthy strong therapeutic rapports with all service users enabling them to develop a range of skills supporting their recovery.
You will act as a positive role model for staff and service users in a manner that positively reflects the Trauma Informed Ward Environment core values and the values of the organisation. This is an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse interested and committed to delivering care within a Secure setting.
Main duties of the job
Successful applicants must be able to work in a challenging, dynamic yet rewarding environment. You will need to demonstrate a range of skills including effective communication, empathy, self-awareness, team work and critical self-reflection skills. There will also be opportunities to develop your skills in a range of ways including risk management and leadership. As a service we promote the use of Positive Behavioural Support Plans which enable us to work closely with our service users to develop high quality personalised plans that enhance our ability to support them to develop life long coping strategies. We currently have full time vacancies and are seeking to employ Registered Mental Health Nurses to work within our service that are committed and motivated to working as part of the Multi-Disciplinary Team in providing professional and compassionate nursing care.Ardenleigh provides specialist care for service users that often have complex mental health needs and offers support in people's recovery through holistic treatments; promoting social inclusion, self-management, personnel autonomy and independence. We pride ourselves on valuing and supporting our staff team, which in turn allows us to deliver compassionate, none judgmental and evidence based care. We see each individual we care for as having the skills and ability for recovery.
Successful applicant must be able to work a full range of shifts i.e. days, nights, unsocial hours
