Band 8a Solihull Early Intervention Service, Hub Manager

Job summary

• With the support of the Clinical Services Manager the post holder will take responsibility for the clinical and operational management of the Early Intervention service.
• With the support of the clinical services manager and other leads within the team oversee the development of new aspects of the service and to regular review the services.
• To oversee the provision of quality evidence-based practice/interventions, support, and care for users across all the EI service.
• The post holder will be expected to offer overall professional clinical leadership and management to all leads within the team that make up the EI service, to manage and coordinate staff and clinical activity and have overall responsibility for the professional development and supervision of practise.
• To provide specialist practical advice on the care and clinical management of users of the services and to support staff, other agencies, and other statutory services to provide integrated services to enable improved health and well-being outcomes for service users.
• To work on maintaining the high standards of performance and care.

To ensure sufficient staffing levels across the current working patterns.

Main duties of the job

Early Intervention provides community services for individuals aged between 14 and 65 that live in Solihull. The team takes a holistic approach to the assessment and management of our patient population and the post holder would be expected to work to this ethos. The team accepts referrals from a range of sources including secondary care services and primary care. Within this role you will be ensuring that quality evidence-based practice and interventions that support and care for users is being delivered across all of the EI service. To lead in the management of all clinical risks including serious and critical incident management, periodic review and analysis of service development, service performance and service needs/overview.
