Job summary

Are you our keen to provide expertise and clinical leadership in the field of Learning Disability and Autism?

We are looking for an inspirational, and experienced senior leader in the field of Learning Disability and Autism who can drive our commitment forward to ensure we are providing the very best clinical care and experience for our service users.

Main duties of the job

The post-holder will provide senior leadership to champion the LDA agenda within BSMHFT and will providing expert knowledge and advice at a strategic and operational level. The role will require face to face work in clinical areas across the Trust at a minimum on a weekly basis. You will be responsible for the implementation of key policy changes to improve the experience of people with learning Disability and Autism, ensure that LDA training, supervision and specialist help is available to frontline clinical staff.

The post-holder will be key in maintaining sustainable and meaningful relationships with key multi-agency partners both at a system regional and national level. As part of the Corporate Nursing Team working closely with nursing and AHP colleagues you will be supported by leads from across the Trust with extensive knowledge in mental health.
