Job summary
As a result of further investment into the ever developing SOLAR service an exciting opportunity has been created by where we are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated, passionate team player to provide clear leadership and management of the SOLAR crisis Hub crisis. The SOLAR crisis Hub incorporates the Crisis/home treatment team and the intensive support team for those who are in crisis and have a diagnosis of ASD/LD. The crisis hub is part of the wider SOLAR service (CAMHS) that provides a service to the Children and young people, their families as well as the multiple agencies within Solihull, 8am-8pm, 7 days a week.
As part of induction in to the role training opportunities are available with Anna Freud National Centre for Children and Families for the CYP Crisis Pathway Workforce.(this will be supported by the service)
Modules cover:
- An introduction to child and young person crisis mental health: for clinicians 1 day
- AMBIT (Adaptive Mentalization Based Integrative Treatment) as a team approach to crisis care and risk management 4.5 days
- Motivational Interviewing and Mentalizing: brief treatment and planning in crisis care 2.5 days
Additional training around the requirements for the CYP including DSR (Dynamic support register, CETR's (Community, Education, treatment reviews will also be provided in order to meet the role requirements.
Main duties of the job
With the support of the SOLAR Services Manager the post holder will take responsibility for the clinical and operational management of the crisis Hub which consists of the crisis team and p-power.
