We are looking for an enthusiastic motivated individual to join the Application Support & Systems Integration team within Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust.

The successful candidate will...

  • Provide controlled system access, related support and advice to circa 3000 users.
  • Process and log calls appropriately in a timely manner.
  • Run and investigate access audits and complete other data quality administrative work.
  • Have good customer service and communication skills.
  • Have knowledge of electronic person based information systems within an NHS environment.
  • Have experience of service desk/systems support.
  • Have excellent Microsoft Office skills.
  • Have the ability to resolve problems swiftly and effectively.
  • Be able to work independently and as part of team.

Main duties of the job

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated person to join the Application Support & Systems Integration team within Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust in the role of ICT Applications Access and Audit Assistant.

The successful applicants will join the team responsible for system upgrades, software rollouts, floor walking and regularly performing extensive audits. Experience of using Microsoft packages to an advanced level is essential.

Demanding, exciting, and rewarding, you will be working with a friendly, sociable team of highly skilled individuals. We welcome applications from newly qualified ICT professionals and those that may currently work in a service desk or similar role, experience of working within an NHS environment is preferred.
