Job summary

Welcome to Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health Foundation Trust, Information Services Team. This is friendly and inclusive department, expanding to meet the informational needs of the Trust and to find innovative ways of using the data we have.

We are looking for an enthusiastic Information Development Assistant to join our team. You should be creative and adaptable and someone who thrives on learning and implementing new skills and technologies and putting these into practice to help develop and improve mental health service provision.

Main duties of the job

The post-holderwill work with a wide range of colleagues and use a variety of analytical, project, communication, and information management skills. This will include:

  • Contributing to data warehousing tasks
  • Building or maintaining internal reports
  • Implementing or extending the functionality of analysis and reporting software tools and databases
  • Increasing the availability and accessibility of a range of information to teams, managers, and clinicians at all levels throughout the Trust and partner organisations
  • Assisting with Data Quality work on our Patient Administration System
