DEMENTIA AND FRAILTY (Older People's Mental Health)

Band 8a/7 Preceptorship Clinical Counselling Psychologist (Older People)

CMHT and In-patients services various post and areas;

Various locations possible including: Juniper Centre, Moseley; Ashcroft, Ladywood; and, Reservoir Court, Erdington.

Main duties of the job

We are seeking newly qualified and experienced clinical or counselling psychologists to join our Psychology team within BSMHFT Dementia and Frailty Services, providing mental health services to older people in the culturally and socially diverse population of Birmingham and Solihull in our community and in-patient services. Newly Qualified Psychologists or those expecting to qualify in 2023 are encouraged to apply as posts could be offered as a Preceptorship. We offer a tailored programme of CPD and other developmental opportunities to support your progression and career development.

We have several posts available in in-patient and community mental health teams which could be offered part-time or combined, offering flexibility in working hours and the focus of work.
