Job summary

An exciting a rare opportunity for an inspirational and motivated Matron to work within Specialities at The Barberry Centre National Centre for Mental Health

The Barberry consists of 3 in-patient wards .Jasmine Suite for Deaf Services, Chamomile for Mother and Baby and Cilantro for Eating Disorders.

Aligned with the above are community and day treatment teams and within perinatal In reach and Outreach team

Neuropsychiatry and Vetiver Suite provide care for Epilepsy and various neuropsychiatry conditions.

We also have a very busy out patient clinic providing assessments and psychological treatments to our local and regional community.

Main duties of the job

To provide leadership to the teams and influence and maintain excellent care delivery by working with Team managers and MDT.

To lead on Quality Initiates and Improvements

To be a team player and motivational leader

To ensure excellent communication

To ensure CQC readiness and maintain standards of excellence

To ensure ICPT adherence and work with teams on COVID 19 recovery plans

Reasearch andsAudit - Improvement planning

Performance coaching and clinical supervision leadership

Ensuring on co-production and nursing strategy and vaccination planning
