Job summary

We are looking for a highly motivated, skilled individuals with a passion for recovery to join our team within Steps 2 Recovery.

We have two full time posts and one part time of 30 hours

This opportunity is at Hertford House which provides a fast stream rehabilitation service for service users across Birmingham and Solihull. Hertford House is a 10 bedded male unit is based in Olton.

An experience and understanding of recovery principles within a rehabilitation setting would be desirable but not essential. Candidates must also be able to demonstrate enthusiasm andmotivationregarding care delivery

This is an excellent opportunity to enhance your clinical skills in a specialised and rewarding environment. Developing holistic care within a multi-disciplinary setting , we invite our nursing to be creative when it comes to recovery. Excellent communication and motivation skill are an essential part of your required duties.

Informal visits to the units are recommended and encouraged.

This post is for Hertford House, but if other post come up for other S2R units, during the advert/interview time frame. We may offer the post within S2R and just at Hertford house.

Main duties of the job

We have a full Multi-disciplinary team working with our service users who are referred from within BSMHFT. We currently offer a service for detained service users , male and female and we are an age inclusive service.

We do take referrals directly from Community teams , acute wards and private health care providers and offer a rehabilitation programme for up to 2 years with step down discharge process with steps 2 recovery or back into the community .
