Job summary
The purpose of the Clinical Development Lead role is to provide clinical leadership, clinical expertise, professional development, and support to Community Teams for Older Adults with Organic and Functional Illness within the Dementia and Frailty Division.
This is an exciting new post and you will need to be able to form a visible and strong leadership to enable the successful candidate to support the Clinical Nurse Manager, Community Team Managers and Staff and work with the MDT's team to ensure all clinical standards are met and your service users experience an excellent service and care delivery, and to contribute to the implementation of strategic plans within the service and within the Community Service.

Main duties of the job
Providing specialist clinical leadership and oversight of clinical processes within the service and providing reports to Professional leads and Clinical managers and ensuring feedback to Trust board. Providing support for registered Quality Improvement (QI initiatives within the service. Provide expert clinical support to the multi-disciplinary team. Ensure effective and skilled clinical interventions are provided to service users to meet their specific needs. Lead on development and implementation of competent and purposeful outcome focussed interventions .Provide expert clinical leadership to the team, ensuring delivery of effective clinical expertise and advice to the team including the provision direction and participation. Demonstrating a strong focus on quality of the service user experience in the way services are designed and delivered with clear processes in place for addressing any risks or issues which are identified as impacting on this .Being highly visible and accessible as a professional leader of the service to all stakeholders. Taking the lead in supporting the achievement of key performance indicators for service area. Including quality, governance, workforce and financial measures. Ensure your teams are delivering on and environment is in line with Trust Requirements ERA LRA and Infection Control. Requirement to line operationally line manage a small number of staff
