Job summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Senior Occupational Therapist to join our well established Women's Service Occupational Therapy Team working within the Women's Secure Blended Service based at Ardenleigh in Erdington. The Women's Service is part of our Secure Care and Offender Health Pathway.
This is an exciting opportunity to develop or enhance your current clinical and management experience within a highly supported environment.
The treatment programmes we offer to support women on their recovery journey include interventions relating to their personal, psycho-social and leisure environment, employment skills development and vocational training and/or experiences. We also aim to link service users to mainstream or supported further education and work training projects or establishments within the community in preparation for discharge.
There will be a range of support mechanisms available; these will include monthly Senior OT meetings, where you will be included in the work of the wider division and Trust AHP group. In addition you will receive operational management support from the Lead OT within Ardenleigh, professional supervision and site based team clinical supervision.
Main duties of the job
To support the leadership and operational management of the delivery of anevidenced based Occupational Therapy treatment service within Secure Care.To provide leadership within a recovery focused model of care and traumainformed care model.To demonstrate values of compassion, commitment, and inclusivity.
