CT1, CT2 & CT3 Locum Appointment to Service (LAS) required for ;

Location: Various

Full /Part Time Posts - General Adult

Salary: depending on grade

These LAS posts are working within various locations and essentially involve the assessment and treatment of patients within an allocated team within Birmingham & Solihull Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust.

The doctor may be expected to change teams at short notice to cover other Trust Grade / CT Doctors within the Trust.

Main duties of the job

Clinical work consists of the assessment and treatment of patients referred to the Team that the doctor will be attached with. The LAS is expected to make a full assessment of each patient admitted / newly referred and is responsible for the preparation of an admission summary and for the presentation of cases at ward rounds or letters / care plans for out-patients.

The Trust Grade LAS may have several outpatient clinics per week supervised by and held at the same time as the Consultants / Associate Specialists clinic.

About us

This post will commence once clearances have been completed. The position will be for a duration of up to 6 months for the rotations or more with a view for extension within another area .
