Job summary

East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking dedicated stroke physicians to join their high-performing Stroke MDT, providing daily consultant-led care and support to patients on the stroke unit. The role involves contributing to clinical governance, risk management, and providing teaching and supervision to junior medical staff. The trust is undergoing a reconfiguration of unscheduled care services, including the opening of a HASU as part of the Lancashire and South Cumbria Stroke service. Main duties of the job

Delivering daily consultant-led care to stroke patients and supporting the stroke unit staff.
Contributing to clinical governance, risk management, and ensuring appropriate standards of care.

Participating in the delivery of 7-day TIA and rapid access clinics.
