About us

Since 1 April 2017, the 0-19 Universal Service has worked in partnership with Blackburn with Darwen Local Authority and other voluntary and community sector providers to deliver the new, integrated, Healthy Child Programme. The new programme will build on previous achievements in the borough by bringing together health visiting, school nursing, specialist infant feeding and other services to be provided by partners in the third sector aiming towards achieving a consolidated public health service. The area of ELHT footprint covers a wide area and you will be expected to be flexible to meet the needs of the service; however, localities often remain the same.
