We are looking for someone who is confident and ambitious to begin or further their career and knowledge in NHS Finance. Working alongside a fantastic team of Management and Divisional Accountants, we are looking for an individual who can use their initiative, be courageous and proactive, to support the division and its budget holders.

Due to the pandemic, there have been many challenges our resilient finance team have had to face and we are looking for someone with self awareness, excellent communication and relationship building skills to join our finance family. These skills will be heavily relied on as our department works in an agile manner, so new team members will need to have the ability to build some relationships with the team and division whilst working from home in this remote manner.

About us

The Finance Department has been at the forefront of change and continual improvement and winning numerous national awards including HFMA, embracing technology as well as the Public Sector Finance award for Training & Development. The Department is both FSD and FFF level 3 accredited so there is no better time to join this inspiring team.

Our accreditation displays our commitment to being a leading-edge Finance Function, supporting the wider improvement of the North West finance system and influencing local and national strategy.

We provide a supportive environment in which to learn and develop, with the opportunity to further your skills and career within an exciting and evolving environment.

We actively participate in mentoring and coaching programmes and all staff have opportunities for protected learning time.

With our training schemes and support networks, you will be empowered to play a leading role in the future of healthcare, whatever your specialism or interest. And as a member of NHS staff, you will receive plenty of discounts from a host of restaurants and high-street stores too.
