Job summary

Applicants are invited for this opportunities to join the Medicine and Emergency Care (MEC) operational management team at East Lancashire Hospitals Trust (ELHT).

This is a fixed term 1 year opportunity and would suit someone wishing to gain or consolidate operational management experience in a busy environment. Secondments would be considered. The position is full time and on-site, although some limited home working may be negotiable.

Main duties of the job

As a deputy directorate manager you will be assigned a directorate to work in and will support the directorate manager in the operational management of that directorate. This will involve all aspects of operational management: performance; finance; human resources; quality and safety.

The Medicine and Emergency Care division has offices at Royal Blackburn Hospital with activity taking place also at Burnley General Hospital and other peripheral sites across East Lancashire.
