Do you wish to be part ofour expanding and dynamic team?We are currently looking for enthusiastic staff nurses to join our acute cardiology team at Wycombe Hospital. We are looking forindividuals who arepassionate about cardiology and team work.
Team work is essential in CCU and the ward is supported by a high level of senior nurses who will be there to support you.
CCU is a 22 bedded and fast paced unit that specializes in cardiac care.You will have the opportunity to look after a variety of complex cardiovascular conditions.
This is the ideal role for someone with cardiology experience although if you are newly qualified and show drive to learn we are also interested in what you have to offer. You will be expected to be IV competent and able to undertake venepuncture and cannulation (or willing to learn). Undertaking immediate life support is also essential.

We offer specialist cardiac courses to all our staff as well as in house training which led by our cardiac practice development nurse.
Main duties of the job
The post holder is responsible for the assessment of care needs and the development and/or implementation and evaluation of programmes of care.Is expected to carry out all relevant forms of care without direct supervision maintaining a high standard of nursing care within the framework of Trust policies and in accordance to guidelines as laid down by the NMC.To supervise qualified junior staff and HCAs.To teach qualified and unqualified staff, including pre registered and post basic students.
