2025 is here and we are delighted to be able to advertise these new roles in our friendly and supportive Community Neurological Rehabilitation Service (CNRS)! If you are interested in playing an active role helping people with neurological conditions live well, this role may be for you. The CNRS team comprises of Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Speech and Language Therapists, Psychologists and Assistant Practitioners who work together collaboratively to meet the needs of this population in Buckinghamshire. This role offers great opportunity for you to work closely with clients both individually and in group settings, to improve or maintain their independence and quality of life. You will work closely with the whole clinical team with ample opportunity for training and development, and will actively contribute to the day to day running of the service alongside your clinical duties, as well as being involved in service development and improvement work. Main duties of the job
- To support the service and registered therapy staff by implementing and undertaking designated patient assessment and treatment programmes, including community/home visit sessions.
- To provide therapy to people with neurological diagnoses, working within agreed treatment plans, protocols, and policies without direct supervision, under the guidance of the registered team and alongside the multi-professional team.
- To document, evaluate and feedback to registered therapists following all interventions
- To support the Community Neurological Rehabilitation Service in non-clinical tasks.
