Why Us?You will join a compassionate and enthusiastic senior leadership team working jointly with the Headof Service, the Operational Lead for Early Years Speech and Language Therapy, Clinical PathwayLeads and Operational Leads for Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy to ensure the high-qualitydelivery of these services.

Main duties of the job

You will be our Operational Lead for Speech and Language School Age Services to provide strategic, operational, and clinical leadership to our school age speech and language therapy pathways. Our service is an Integrated Therapies model, consisting of speech and language therapy, occupational therapy, and physiotherapy, providing therapy support for children and young people with education, health and care needs in partnership with the Local Area.

What is involved?Oversee the delivery of speech and language therapy services for school-aged children,ensuring that all children receive the support they need to succeed.As a newly re-commissioned service within a programme of transformation in the Local Area for children with SEND, you will co produce services with service users and keypartners in health, education, social care and the voluntary sector to support a wholesystem response to the needs of children and young people.Manage resolution processes as necessary, ensuring every child's voice is heard and theirneeds are met with care and respect.
