Main duties of the job

Band 2 Maternity Care Assistant

(Infant Feeding Team)

Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust has a commitment to ensure that "the needs of the patient always come first" and we are now increasing our Infant feeding support for new parents.

Three quarters of British mothers who stopped breastfeeding in the first 6 months (and 90% of those who stopped in the first 2 weeks) would have liked to continue for longer.

We recognise that supporting new parents in the early days, when they are at their most vulnerable, can really make a difference in enabling mothers to feed their babies successfully, whatever their choices.

Full training will be given.
