Job summary
Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust mortuary team, based at Stoke Mandeville Hospital site, are looking to recruit a highly motivated and enthusiasticAnatomical Pathology Mortuary Assistantto join our busy friendly Mortuary Team.
Exceptional patient care to our deceased and their families is of paramount importance to our team and we would expect the same from all staff.
This is a fixed term post for 18months with the possibility of a future substantial post.
Training provided inhouse.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will contribute to provision of a high quality diagnostic pathology service for Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust and will work within clearly defined protocol and procedures, adhering to all Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust policies e.g. Health and Safety, Data Protection and Confidentiality, Equality & Diversity. The post holder will work under supervision from the APTs.
Within this "scope and range" the post holder is responsible for contributing to the delivery of a high-quality histopathology and mortuary service and for ensuring that they make the best use of all resources available to them, and maintenance of an environment that is safe and conducive to best working practice and adhere to HTA regulations.
