We are recruiting a Speech and Language Therapist to an Operational Lead for Speech and Language School Age and Statutory Services for the Children and Young People's (CYP) Integrated Therapy Service in Buckinghamshire, to provide strategic, operational and clinical leadership to our school age and statutory speech and language therapy pathways. The role will include managing and working with therapists supporting children and young people with speech, language and communication needs in education settings. Our service is an Integrated Therapies model, consisting of speech and language therapy, occupational therapy and physiotherapy, providing therapy support for children and young people with education, health and care needs in partnership with the Local Area.

You will join a compassionate and enthusiastic senior leadership team working jointly with the Head of Service, the Operational Lead for Early Years and Health Speech and Language Therapy, Clinical Pathway Leads and Operational Leads for Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy to ensure the high-quality delivery of these services.

As a newly re-commissioned service within a programme of transformation in the Local Area for children with SEND, you will co-produce services with service users and key partners in health, education, social care and the voluntary sector to support a whole system response to the needs of children and young people. Operating within an Integrated Care Partnership, you will influence the strategic development and delivery of high quality, evidence-based therapy interventions for children and young people in Buckinghamshire.
