Allied Health Professional Support Worker Project Lead BOB

Job summary
Working as a champion for the Allied Health Professional (AHP) support workforce, the post holder will develop and deliver a range of activities and projects to enable learning development and progression for this staff group across Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire, Berkshire west (BOB). It is a collaborative role between the AHP Leadership team and organisational development with the ten partner organisations across the system. The post holder will lead on a programme of work aimed at developing the support worker roles across the 15 AHP professions.
Main duties of the job
- Represent the views of the AHP support workforce whilst encouraging participation and leadership at all levels.
- Network with support workers across BOB to identify areas for skills development, sharing of good practice and extension of scope and development.
- Work in collaboration with AHP leads, clinical leads and other Multidisciplinary Teams colleagues to provide opportunities and frequent networking to improve recognition of the support workforce staff group.
- Contribute towards the development of a career pathway for non-registered staff with associated experiential, learning and education requirements.
