Job summary

The Trust has been running an Integration Engine since 2006. The integration engine size is around 370 million records and has 100 end point between different Trust systems, including both Community and Acute. The integration engine transports, duplicates and transforms messages from one system to another in real time. The Integration Engine interfaces with both local and centrally hosted Systems such as Careflow (PAS), Solution (Radiology), WinPATH (Pathology), ICE (Order Comms), CCW (Cardiology), Medisoft (Ophthalmology) and Primary Care (GPs). .

As part of a Digital Health Programme in the next 5 years, the Trust will be implementing a new Integration Engine platform which involves implementing new interfaces, such as:- ePrescribing, Maternity, Community, and migrating existing interfaces from the previous integration platform.

Main duties of the job

You will be responsible for designing, developing and testing integration interfaces as well as developing and testing fixes to ensure fluid and accurate systems integration Trust Wide.

Daily proactive monitoring and emergency fixing of both systems integration software/environment and database's ( MSSQL, MySQL) will be required.

Experience of scripting is essential, such as python, C#, VB.
