Job summary

It's an exciting time to join our Community Assessment and Treatment Service (CATS). We are looking for Band 3 Rehabilitation Support Worker to work within the multidisciplinary team based at Marlow Community Hospital.

Our Rehabilitation Support Worker will work with guidance and support from our qualified Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists and Nursing staff.You would be working directly with patients to carryout exercise programmes as directed by the physiotherapists and being involved in the running of classes and adapting exercises to accommodate patients.

Main duties of the job

  • Assessment of appropriate patients under indirect supervision of physiotherapists, nurses and/ or occupational therapists
  • Delivery of prescribed exercise programmes on a 1 :1 basis in a clinic setting or client's homes
  • Delivery of group based exercise or activities under indirect supervision of physiotherapists, nurses, occupational therapists and/or postural stability instructors
  • Provision of Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy equipment
  • To document, evaluate and feedback to line managers following all interventions.
  • To support the team in non-clinical tasks
