Job summary

We are looking to appoint a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team in providing a high performing Finance Business Partner service to a new Care Group within the Trust.

The successful candidate will work closely with care group clinical and operational leadership teams to ensure they are given the business and financial support required to successfully run their care group and meet operational performance requirements within agreed financial resources. Where required, the successful candidate will be comfortable in facilitating transformational change to ensure financial sustainability.

The post holder will be someone who looks for innovative solutions to improve the financial performance of the Care Group and has excellent communication skills to inspire confidence in working with other professionals at a senior level both within the Trust and externally. They will also proactively engage in the management and development of staff within the Financial Management team to ensure a high performing finance service is delivered.

Main duties of the job

The Financial Management Team has been restructured to introduce Finance Business Partner (FBP) roles to Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust, so is an exciting time to join us.

Due to an internal secondment, we are looking to fill this vacancy on a fixed term basis.

  • Ability to successfully challenge assumptions & information & negotiate solutions.
