Job summary
This exciting new role will lead on the delivery of Health on the High Street, an innovative new model for Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust (BHT). The role will support the daily operational running of Unit 33 (BHT's first Health on the High Street Unit) and will support in evaluating the pilot and identifying opportunities to expand in other areas within the county. The Health on High Street model forms part of BHTs Healthy Communities Programme with the aim of improving the health and wellbeing of our communities through accessible and joined up public and voluntary services, in addition to supporting the revitalisation of the town centre as a community hub.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic individual who can produce results in a challenging environment. As the project manager it will be your responsibility to coordinate, promote and support the running of Unit 33, evaluate the Health on High Street Model and support implementation of the model in other areas of Buckinghamshire. This role requires an ability to manage time and resources effectively to ensure that the Health on the High Street model successful delivers services to our communities that promote their health and wellbeing and supports the revitalisation of the town centre.
Candidates with experience of project management and delivering projects/services to reduce health inequalities would be ideally suited to this role.
Main duties of the job
As project manager it will be your responsibility to:
- Coordinate services running from the Unit
- Promote the unit to both communities and other organisations
- Manage and support volunteers working within the unit
- Lead of evaluation of Health on the High Street model and future expansion to other areas within Buckinghamshire
This will include:
- Engaging with stakeholders both internally and externally
- Developing and monitoring an evaluation framework
- Supporting the delivery of BHT's Healthy Communities Progamme
