Job summary
Due to new increased financial investment in the Occupational Therapy service, we are expanding our clinical pathways to offer increased support for children and young people in Buckinghamshire.
We are recruiting a remote Occupational Therapist to join our Integrated Children and Young People's Therapies Service in Buckinghamshire. This post is a result of exciting and innovative service developments and redesign in the Occupational Therapy service to reduce wait times for first contact with an Occupational Therapist and enable earlier advice and intervention for children and young people.
This is a jointly commissioned service across health, social care and educationthat will give you the opportunity to use your innovative and dynamic OT skills to influence the delivery of high quality, evidence based interventions for children and young people in Buckinghamshire.
Main duties of the job
The role will be to provide virtual advice sessions to schools and families as a first point of contact with the service along with delivery our universal webinar offers. You will also be holding a small caseload of children who can be supported via virtual coaching
This post is remotely home based offering a high amount of flexibility. There is an expectation to come on base periodically through the year and to collect essential IT. You will be linked to our school's clinical pathway to ensure whilst working remotely you are still embedded into team meetings.

- Registered member of the Royal College of Occupational Therapists (RCOT)
- Recognised Occupational Therapy degree qualification or equivalent
