Job summary

The Head of Business Intelligence will play a key part is change. In particular the post-holder is responsible for the leadership, development and delivery of high-quality Business Intelligence and analytics function to support the decisions of clinicians, staff and managers at all levels of the organisation (from ward to board).
Main duties of the job
The Head of Business Intelligence will be expected to make a positive contribution to the development and delivery of the wider Trust agenda, including the development and the strategic vision of the Trust (emphasis on quality, people and money) and the wider Integrated Care Partnership (ICP) and Integrated Care System (ICS).
The post-holder is required to deputise for the Associate Director of Informatics Development, as required, across a range of professional responsibilities.

- Experience of providing advice to, and liaising with, managers/staff and all levels, including with Executive Directors and senior clinicians
- Experience of working successfully across functional boundaries
- Ability to identify and implement best practice from other organisations
- Experience of successfully managing central operational services in a complex organisation (including people and budgetary management)
