An exciting opportunity has arisen for aDiabetes Nurse Specialist who is considering progressing their career in Diabetes.
This exciting role in an expanding team will give the post-holder the opportunity to contribute to the specialist care and management of individuals with various types of Diabetes.

Main duties of the job
As a Band 7 Diabetes Nurse Specialist, the successful applicant will share the ambition, vision and values of the department and the wider Trust, supporting a group of Diabetes Specialist Nurses and the wider multidisciplinary team including Dietitians and Consultants.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring a safe, seamless and exemplary care at the point of need, within the inpatient and outpatient diabetes services.
The post holder will be accountable for the delivery of high quality, patient centred care.
We are looking for a highly specialised, motivated and enthusiastic individual who will act as a positive role model in delivering care of the highest quality to patients and their carers, using a professional and competent approach , whist maintaining clinical accountability and autonomy within their practice.
