Job summary
We are currently in an exciting position to welcome an experienced Nurse Specialist to our Dermatology Department at Ipswich Hospital
You will be an experienced clinician and qualified non-medical prescriber, able to support our current nurse specialist prescribers who manage patients with skin conditions, chronic diseases and monitor systemic and biologic therapies. Working autonomously within the busy Dermatology outpatient setting we are looking to support our present team providing high-level effective care to these patient groups.
We would welcome those interested in applying for this position to spend some time in clinic to meet the team.
Main duties of the job
To work within the framework for Clinical Governance to provide effective, high quality individualised nursing care to patients and relatives/carers and to contribute to the continuing development of nursing practice.
Provide specialist knowledge and offer advice in chronic inflammatory disease, eczema and acne to patients, colleagues and health care professionals.
Work autonomously as one of the Dermatology Nurse Specialists offering Nurse led clinics with Non- medical nurse prescribing experience.
Update in annual Non-medical prescribing competence
