Rota Coordinator - Trauma and Orthopaedics

Job summary

We are looking for a resilient, enthusiastic, motivated and proactively driven individual to fulfil the role of Rota Coordinator within our Trauma and Orthopaedic department.

You will be required to provide an excellent administrative service to the Operational and Medical teams within our services. Acting as the first point of contact for any medical staffing enquiries within the department you will have the responsibility for the provision of a safely staffed medical team.

Please note, this is a FixedTerm/secondment position until 31st October 2025. Internal candidates will be offered a secondment position only

Main duties of the job

The post will entail creating and maintaining complex medical rotas, sourcing locum medical staff to within budgetary limits, processing medical leave and sickness records for in excess of 60 medical staff, organisation of regular junior doctor rotations and a variety of other tasks required to provide the department with an efficient medical staffing service.
