Job summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic and organised Receptionist to join our professional team in Stowmarket.
We are an Integrated Team comprising of Nurses, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Social Workers and support staff. Our focus is ondelivering high quality holistic care for those in our local community.
We are looking for someone with a positive attitude who will be able to work autonomously and be able to prioritise workload.
The ideal candidate will have the ability to communicate effectively with members of the public and various levels of staff, both face-to-face and over the phone. This post is the first point of contact into the department so we need someone who will ensure that the Trust's values are used at all times to ensure the expected high standards are maintained.

Main duties of the job
- To provide a reception service for patients attending appointments on site, working closely with clinical staff from several health service providers.
- To support patients attending the department for clinic appointments
- To provide a service for all patient enquiries either by telephone or in person.
- Reconciling of appointments to ensure they are reconciled in a timely manner, preferably on the day of appointment.
- To contribute to general administrative support to the INT team and Area 3 including:
- Opening and redirecting mail ensuring all urgent communications are actioned immediately.
- Checking data accuracy at all times and following correct procedures for management of all patientrecords.
- To arrange ambulance and taxi transport for patients as required and assist with related queries
