Job summary
East Suffolk and North Essex Foundation Trust is seeking to appoint a General Practitioner Advisor.
Working within the multi professional education team, the medical team supports the educational activities of all undergraduate and postgraduate medical education.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, approachable and highly motivated individual to join the team to provide administrative support to the Lead GP Administrator.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to support trainees is essential as is the ability to demonstrate open, friendly and approachable behaviour. Organising teaching forms a large part of this role so attention to detail is essential.
Main duties of the job
- Consistent provision of higher level comprehensive and efficient administrative support
- Manage, prioritise, plan and organise own time and co-ordinate that of your team if appropriate, using extensiveknowledge, skills and experience.
- Provide leadership that encourages high performance from other staff within your team, with the aim ofmaintaining optimum efficiency within the department.
- Train and provide support to enable other team members to deliver an efficient administrative/secretarialservice.
- To utilise the required technology/hospital systems / new technology or system (s) and support other teammembers to do so to deliver an efficient administrative/secretarial service.
