Job summary

ESNEFT are seeking a phenomenal leader with extensive experience to come and work with us as the Head of Estates and Capital for Ipswich and Suffolk.

Working for the AD Capital and Estates, the role holder is responsible for the construction and maintenance of the trust's owned estate at Ipswich Hospital and across its Suffolk community sites.

You will be responsible for ensuring the provision of a safe, functional, sustainable, and value for money estate providing a great 'workplace experience' for staff, visitors and patients.

Main duties of the job

Be the individual responsible for the co-ordination and delivery of all capital and maintenance works at Ipswich Hospital and the Suffolk owned community sites incl Aldeburgh, Felixstowe and Blue Bird Lodge Community Hospitals.

Support the Estates Strategy team with the development of the longer-term Master Control Plan and Development Control Plan for each site within the Ipswich and Suffolk portfolio.

Support the Estates Strategy team with developing the business case and procuring all external parties required to deliver the schemes in accordance with SFIs and procurement rules.

Lead and manage teams of building, electrical, mechanical, sterilisation and boiler house teams to ensure the continuous 24/7 provision of estates services and ensure that all mandatory and statutory planned and preventative maintenance is carried out in accordance with all specific regulations and trust policies.

Oversee the safe delivery of all capital schemes on the Ipswich and Suffolk sites, ensuring quality, time and cost are always considered.

Manage a substantial annual estates and capital budget
