Job summary

Are you a Band 5 Physiotherapist now looking to work towards a Band 6 position or someone who is already at Band 6 level and seeking a new opportunity?

We are excited to announce that we are able to offer an Physiotherapy position Ipswich Hospital in our inpatient team working across older peoples wards.

We are looking for talented individuals who will be confident and professional with the clinical skills required to manage a diverse, complex caseload within a dynamic environment, providing a high standard of Physiotherapyservice in an acute inpatient setting.

You will need to demonstrate both supervisory and leadership skills to support junior members of staff and students and will be required to work a shift pattern across 7 days.

A comprehensive induction and regular formal and informal supervision, appraisal, in-service training and CPD opportunities are available. Continued study and development at Masters level is achievable and supported by our Service for the right candidate.

Main duties of the job

Providing a high standard physiotherapy service in an acute hospital setting

Providing an evidence-based physiotherapy service that adheres to CSP, HCPC and CQC clinical and quality standards.

To ensure as far as is reasonably practical the safety of the patients in your care.

To supervise and assist in the development of junior physiotherapists, unregistered staff and students on placement in each rotation.

To undertake audit of both clinical practice and processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.

To demonstrate commitment to continuous professional development.
