Job summary

We are excited to offer the opportunity for afull-time position as a Legal Services Paralegal. This post is available to candidates who wish to contribute to the on-going success of the Legal Services Team.

The role can be based at either of our Ipswich or Colchester sites and will involve a combination of home working.

The Legal Team have a strong work ethic and camaraderie. Every day is different and being able to self-motivate and prioritise when competing tasks is key to the success of the team.

You must be a team player, highly organised, be able to multi task under pressure and have a positive approach.

The ability to work in a challenging and changing environment will be demonstrated by well-developed personal and communication skills alongside a thorough and focused approach to tasks.

Main duties of the job

As a Legal Services Paralegal you will support the Legal Services Team in providing an effective claims management and inquest service for the Trust in respect of clinical negligence; employer and public liability and other claims under the relevant NHS Resolution schemes and assist with inquests.
