This is an exciting time to join us, as the Trust has invested in an exciting project for an Inpatient Medical Model of Care which involves moving to 7 day consultant cover across all inpatient areas. Other ongoing projects include the development of a 'Hub and Spoke' renal service and moving our Cardiology service towards delivering 24/7 Primary PCI.

Main duties of the job
The appointed individual will be working with an engaged team of dedicated healthcare professionals and the Clinical Delivery Group Management team including the Clinical Director, Clinical Leads and Matrons.
You will be responsible for the delivery of safe, efficient and high quality care to our patients as well as developing the services within a business focused environment whilst maintaining financial performance. This role is for someone not just interested in a routine, day-to-day role but for a team player that can lead by example with team engagement at the forefront of what they do.
You will be responsible for all aspects of performance standards as well as financial, HR and clinical safety adherence responsibility. This includes delivery of all performance metrics and KPI (Quality, Operational and Financial) targets, proactively identifying expectations and developing improvement plans with service leaders and clinicians. You will also be involved in business case planning for the division.
