We now have an exciting new role which has been established to keep up with our ever increasing paediatric research portfolio. This is an evolving role, working alongside our dynamic and enthusiastic teams.
Within our research and development (R&D) team we have a synapse research team who are looking for an organised individual who can independently manage their own workload and provide administration support and an effective PA service to the Synapse team.
This is new role., you will be an integral part of the Synapse and (R&D) team, you will be required to support with the production of reports, presentations and correspondence.
You will be able to manage electronic diary schedules and produce formal written correspondence for a wide audience. The applicant must be an effective decision maker to ensure the varied and challenging workload is managed to the high standards required.
You may be required to work flexibly across sites/teams. Flexible working patterns and home working will be considered in line with the needs of the service.
Main duties of the job
- Administrative tasks inclusive of minute taking, typing agendas and other documents, then distribution via email and/or post
- Manage action logs
- Schedule meeting inclusive of diary management for Synapse team members as required and liaison with other attendees/their PAs
- Telephone calls to patients to arrange appointments.
- Typing and sending of appointment letters and patient or participant correspondence
- Management of workshop waiting lists (supported by the relevant therapist)
- Scanning and saving patient documents to the clinical notes system
- Assistance during group intervention sessions - acting as a second person to welcome attendees to the venue, distribute paperwork, help to set up the room and other duties as required
