Job summary

We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated HCA to join our friendly, forward thinking Special Surgery Outpatient team. Your primary role will be in ENT Outpatients with some shifts in the Oral Surgery Outpatients.

We provide a range of services including, Child specific clinics, Otology , Rhinology and Nurse Led Aural Care clinics along with Head and Neck cancer services, Minor dental surgery and prosthetics.

We promote a team approach ethos towards service improvements with all staff included in supporting new developments.

You will be required to promote the highest possible standards of care based trust Values and Policies

To enable you to become an effective member of the team, you will have the opportunity to develop the clinical skills required to support Head and Neck, Otology, Rhinology and Dental and Nurse led clinics

The working hours will be 08:30-17:30 with 30 mins for lunch.

Main duties of the job

  • To meet the needs of the Trust with regard to Induction, mandatory and statutory training
  • To meet the direct and indirect care needs of patients under the delegation and supervision of a Registered Nurse
  • To ensure high standards of patient care at all times, in line with Trust policies and guidelines
  • To work as an effective member of the nursing and wider multi-professional healthcare tea

  • Recently worked in the acute hospital setting
  • Previous experience in caring/nursing setting

Desirable

  • Previous Outpatient experience
  • Previous ENT experience
