Job summary

We are looking for Band 5 Midwives to come and join our fantastic Maternity teams in Ipswich Hospital.

You must be able to demonstrate excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workload.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will be expected to work in a hybrid model; working both in community and the unit, moving towards the model of Continuity caseload management.

The post holder will work in a variety of settings, which will include all antenatal, intrapartum, postnatal and community services, maintaining skills in all aspects of midwifery care working in a hybrid model of care until Continuity of Carer becomes the default model of care throughout the pregnancy continuum.

The post holder will be responsible for co-ordinating, planning, organising and directing activities to ensure optimum care is achieved and continued learning is created and maintained.
