Job summary
An exciting 12 month opportunity has arisen for an innovative Allied Health Professional (AHP) to work at a system level within the Suffolk and North East Essex Integrated Care System (SNEE ICS), working directly with the Chief AHP and SNEE ICS AHP Council.
In SNEE, the AHP Faculty provides the infrastructure to facilitate system-wide working between providers of health, social care, private independent voluntary organisations, education and training providers and arm's length bodies and brings together AHP leaders and frontline staff from these different organisations.
The strategic aim is to support and deliver a collective approach to workforce supply and growth, education and working differently and productively in a compassionate and inclusive culture for AHPs across SNEE. In addition, there will also be a strong focus on increasing placement capacity, supporting continuing professional development, developing and refining AHP and Support worker career opportunities, building partnerships with education providers, and addressing local educational and workforce priorities.
There will be opportunities to develop your leadership ability and you will be supported in developing your skills working across an Integrated Care System in order to role model and create conditions for future AHP's ready to move into system leadership roles.
Main duties of the job
You will work with SNEE ICS colleagues to build a shared purpose and commitment to support Allied Health Professions (AHP) workforce transformation, training and education alongside building a strong and sustainable AHP community across the system and region.
You will support the Faculty to build on its portfolio of projects to assure an AHP workforce for the future.
You will evidence the value of the Faculty and senior AHP leadership.
The AHP Faculty Lead has leadership responsibility for the ongoing development and sustainability of high quality and innovative practice and educational development for the AHPs within the system.
